The Reasons Why We Proudly Do Pro Bono Workshops for CanToo

It was great to be back at CanToo last week presenting my workshop ‘How to improve work productivity and performance by boosting your vitality and resilience’.

CanToo is an amazing organisation that supports the research, prevention, care and control of cancer via their run, ride and swim programs.

Cancer research is close to my heart, as I have lost both my parents far too early to this cruel disease. Like for so many of us, cancer has crept into our lives, and taken someone important. The fact that CanToo work tirelessly to get some answers means the world to me.

I also admire them for the way they do it… through exercise.

Over 10,000 people have trained and participated in their run, ride and swim programs over the last 10+ years. All of those generous, brave bodies have not only raised money for CanToo, but they have also helped themselves with the one of the greatest prevention weapons of all – exercise!

It is for these reasons that I offer my services to CanToo’s management, marketing, finance and administration teams for free. If I can give my time and my knowledge and my experience to help them to continue to give so generously to our community, then I feel very lucky.

The job is pretty easy though because they are all such wonderful, sparkly human beings.

Thank you CanToo for embracing me, and the workshops that I prepare for you. I hope we can continue to work together, making small but significant adjustments to our wellness journey, so we can be our best selves at work…..and in life.
